DO YOU OFFER HOLIDAY CLINICS?
Yes! We operate our holiday clinics in January and December public school holidays and also in the September public school holidays. The clinics are divided into two groups – the first programme is designed for the more experienced swimmers who are often enrolled in our squads. The group will be challenged to step a little out of their comfort zone and try some more difficult and longer sets and test sets. Of course there will be a fun element but a little more demanding than regular sessions. Swimmers will feel proud for conquering the week long programme. The swimmer will be required to bring flippers and turn up in running gear as we will hit the oval for some dry land challenges as well. On Friday of the clinic the swimmers will enjoy a well-deserved breakfast which will be served for the last half hour of the session.
The other clinic is for our swimmers in the Learn To Swim programme. These clinics are designed around children swimming every day of the clinic – usually at the same time every day. Time and teacher preferences will be given to children who swim everyday. For more information on the holiday clinics, simply email us at bcswim@outlook.com or register your interest by clicking HERE.
CAN I HAVE A MAKE-UP LESSON IF MY CHILD IS SICK?
Yes! Student’s are entitled to a maximum of 2 make-up lessons per term. If your child is going to be absent from their lesson, you must mark this absence in the portal at least 2 hours prior to the lesson time to be eligible for a make-up lesson. Families can then book their make-up lesson via the portal at a time and day that is suitable.
Shortened or cancelled sessions due to adverse weather conditions or other circumstances beyond our control will be offered make-up lessons if applicable. Make-up lessons and/or credits/refunds are not applicable in the event of Instructor absences, unless the Swim School fails to provide a relief Instructor. If a child misses a class, leaves early or arrives late, is not entitled to a discount or make-up lesson. Your fees pay for your position in a class and the cost to the swim school remains the same whether you attend the lesson or not. PLEASE NOTE: ALL UN-USED MAKE-UP LESSONS EXPIRE ON THE LAST DAY OF EACH TERM. They do not roll over into future terms.
HOW CAN I CHECK MY BOOKING DETAILS?
By logging in to the portal you can view your child’s lesson details including time, day of the week and Instructors name. You can also mark absences, book make-up lessons and pay your account with a credit card from within the portal. See Portal Links tab on the home page to be directed to the correct portal for each pool.
